Three customers - quick questions

I've been on the rolling internet 200 tariff for about 8 months, and just yesteday signed up to the One Plan for 12 months to beat the price rise and get some tether power. Very happy with their coverage in London.

I did this exact same thing sunday night :)

It does indeed, I wonder if the word rolling is key as it implies continuity rather than a straight 1 month contract, presuming your phone is already unlocked could you borrow a friend's sim to try signal.

It isn't a 1 month contract it's a rolling plan with a 1 month min term.

In that case it'll probably retain the lower price longer than my 12 month which I got as soon as they dropped the price initially.

ok, im on payg 15£pm for unlimited data

im wondering if i should hop on the rolling contract?

If you're happy with the network then you'd be mad not to sign up for the 12 month one plan for £15 a month while you still can, you'll get a ton of minutes and texts over PAYG.

From what I understand the price increase will be just for new customers. The way you are billed on the one plan is you are charged £25 and then the discount is applied monthly i.e £10 discount for the 12 month sim only one plan = £15. The base price of the one plan (£25) is not going up, it's the discounts that are being changed for new customers taking out the one plan.

If you have a discount on your account that re-occurs monthly then you will continue to get this for the life of the contract. So if your paying £18 for the monthly rolling one plan it should stay at that price after the price increase because you will still have your re-occurring monthly discount.

Cheers

To save starting a new thread, are any three customers having data problems this morning?

I'm in central Manchester and have full signal, but no data connection, sounds like there maybe a nationwide problem

Came here to check if it was just me. Data down in Guildford for me, and yet my colleague who is also on Three is okay. He's stood right next to me and has a data connection. Very strange!

Data isn't loading here in the West Midlands either so looks widespread. Dirk are you sure the guy standing next to you didn't load a web page that's stored in the cache?

I can't load Youtube here in Northumberland. Normally get excellent data speeds (as fast as our 10mb internet at work). I think this is the first time I've noticed the data network go down since I switched to Three a year ago.

I was just going on the status bar icon. His was present and showing activity. Mine has come back now but Data still doesn't work. It's the first outage i've noticed since the big one last year so i can't really complain!

Data issues over here near Newcastle. Other half works for Three but has the day off today so not clued up on what could be wrong.
