any difference between v1 and v2? i suspect it is just pre-loaded with a newer firmware? too early in product lifecycle for different hardware imo

but that looks like a promising 7 speed shifter

TH8 RS Shifter is due out in 2nd half of October for about £130

new F1 wheel rim due Sept 23rd according to some for £150 if you allready have T500 base - no official statement from Thrustmaster yet, just info from Will Buxton's Twitter http://twitter.com/#!/willbuxton
