Thunderbolts*

That's the entire point? It's meant to be a group of rejects that nobody cares about. That's why she uses them. And yeah, if we never saw Bucky, Alexei or Yelena in the MCU again it would absolutely suck. Bob was an interesting character who I'd love to see again. In fact the only one I'm not really fussed about was Ghost. Even Walker is interesting enough that I'd see him again.

I think you are confusing the premise of the film within the MCU and the fact that most people don't care about these characters that much in the real world. This is borderline the same as the suicide squad. No matter what the premise of the characters in the film, people watching have to care about them.

You clearly do so perhaps its just me. I was just expecting more based on the positive reviewing of it. As I said, it was fine. I was expecting better than fine.

Finally watched it and I think it was over hyped. The intro with elayna and her depression with that forced russian accent was bad. So much time wasted until we get Sentry. At first it looked like he was killing them off but it wasn't. But when they decided to get 'blipped' they conveniently came to where the elayna is. Where did the other people go?

He is OP but they don't show how OP i.e. actual strength, most of the beatings were inside the building. Elaynas flashbacks were boring.

Then suddenly the budget ended, when they got to the news conference. And then everyone forgot what happened, no news on the incident or anything and 14 months passed on.

5/10

That's pretty much my take on it as well. I didn't regret watching it, but I was expecting more.

It was decent and I guess a refreshingly different angle on the superhero thing...none of them had awesome powers, and none of them really liked themselves.

Finally got around to watching!

I thought the first chapter was corny and boring and thought this was going to be dog toffee. But from Bucky on the bike, things got good. Enjoyed that and post credit scene was cool.

I don't like how they can create God like heroes with a serum, straying into The Boys territory now, but Sentry makes a cool villain/hero. Also, a bit disappointing on how everyone was saved by 'love' again - this is usually saved for Doctor Who episodes :(

But, yup, enjoyed it.

I mean the whole film was about mental health and depression/anxiety so its no wonder 'love' saved the day.
