Can verify. Just seen lightning strike a tree from my allotment in Romsey. Mostly passed over now.

Had a nice hailstorm earlier on in Birmingham.

Very random, but cool.

Yeah it was crazy in Chandler's Ford as well.

Said to my other half that I could hear odd rumbles and we just put it down to the wind blowing down the chimney as it was still super sunny outside. Then all of a sudden things went pitch black and we were hit with a barrage of hail and awesome cracking thunder and lightning right overhead..was like something out of a disaster movie!

Biblical storm in Chandlers Ford indeed, took some video out my window. It kinda came from nowhere, seemed like the wind picked up to 40 or 50mph for about 30 minutes then the hail and the loudest cracks of thunder ever. Was mental.

I was in Winchester when it hit. It was so sudden, went from beaming sunshine to incredibly dark and gloomy. A few huge claps of thunder then it tipped down for an hour and it was gone! Drove through Chandlers Ford earlier.. bright sunshine on a soaking wet road, my eyes were melting.
