We haven't had any thunder but we just had a hell of a downpour, 19.7mm in 1 hour and the garden is completely flooded. Strangely enough we had another huge downpour at the same time yesterday.
 
It's heavy thunder and lots of lightning + rain here in Chester, Cheshire now. I love it i have the curtains and windows open so I can see/hear/feel it.
 
Heavy rain and thunderstorm. Just went to the bog and wondered what the flash was then the thunder hit. Absolutely ratting it down. Outskirts of Accrington.
 
Must be in our own microclimate. Had a splatter of rain (just enough to wet the windows) last night and it looked liked a bit of rain last night but I slept like a rock :D
 
Considering how hot and muggy it is here, I’ll be shocked if we don’t get storms. We had a downpour this morning, but no lightning. It’s forecast though, but the forecast is wrong most of the time. Just need to finish in my gym before then.

First of the imports from France just reaching the south coast, looks like the channel has killed some intensity but maybe it will perk up again
