I'm just outside of St Ives (cambs) and it's rumbling here.

Pretty sure hail, or some huge a%% rain drops, need to re mastic my conservatory roof

Just got a 30s rolling thunder here in Stoke.

I've been fairly disappointed. Forecast gave us loads of thunder and rain. We got a few small distant rumbles and a bit of rain. I was hoping for more.

Heavy rain here this afternoon and it's chucking down now. Some distant flashes but not much.
Don't mind some rain, it's good for the garden. As long as we get the heat too.

Dodged Southampton today, again, just light showers 1600-1800ish.

Yea it was a bit of an anti climax, about 10 minutes of rumbles and the odd flash but as thunderstorms go it was very tame

Having a nice storm here right now
Just had a fun drive into Oxford. Overtook a bus on a dual carriageway (coming out from a stop) straight into a flooded lane. It was pouring down so much that I didn't even realise until I was virtually in it. Drove blind for a few seconds as the car became engulfed in water.

Several colossal claps of thunder after 6 a.m this morning shook the building rained for all of 10 minutes and was done local news says flooding all round and over though police saying take care out there glad I'm not driving anywhere this morning

Few rumbles sometime early this morning, possibly after sunrise, I was too tired to be bothered to pick up mobile and see what time it was.
Guessing there was a strike at or very close to the local landline BB exchange, barely had any up-time since I surfaced, currently USB tethering my Three 5G mobile data to the pc to surf the interweb. Doesn't seem to be ISP specific, MIL has no net either on different ISP.

Light drizzle in Southampton, but had a few unexpected rumbles of thunder in the last few minutes!
