Well that was disappointing, an amber weather alert for nothing really

Once again, the Met Office let me down. They spent all of yesterday afternoon telling me (yes, me, personally), "There is going to be a huge thunderstorm and biblical rain, and it's going to be coming right over your house".

I went to bed just as it was starting to rain and made sure to crack the blinds a little, with lightningmaps.org ready in my phone's browser, excitedly waiting the coming onslaught.

And...nothing. Didn't even rain that hard. I am disappoint.

I am tired of being edged by Met Office thunderstorm warnings

And that was it sadly, no more storms. Makes the amber warning a bit of a joke.
