We haven't had anything. Lots of storms have developed in the distance, but the sun has stayed out most of the time. Still horribly humid here.

The midwest in the US has some great ones, since coming to New York sate, no real storms (in midwestern standards), been here like 3 years only 1 F0 tornado that we know of. Back in Illinois one storm might have 10ish tornadoes (not one a F0). 1 great thing though is 99.99% of the time it gets what they say is hot is a cool summer day in the miwest. In New York state 85 F is hot, lot better than uper 90s with a heat index of 105. I remember one day at the park back before moving here, heat index was 115!!!

Crikey, i hope that rain doesnt come to us in donny, my garden has horrible drainage and the drains outside are always blocked at the front

Nottingham photos look about right, I drove to work instead of getting the train/bus replacement service to avoid getting soaked walking to the station.
Got into my car at 5, 5.10 the rain started, by 5.15 it was torrential, couldn't see even with wipers on full speed. Didn't encounter anything like those photos because I wasn't driving through the centre itself, but there were streams running down the road which I could feel making my car unstable even sat still, was a little worried I'd start going down the hill backwards!

Nothing here so far
Nothing here on the south coast, not so much as a rumble of thunder. According to the forecast it was supposed to be raining cats and dogs. God damn need it too isn't a blade of green grass anywhere, its all gone brown. Absolute dustbowl.
Out in west London absolutely nothing last night.
There were a couple of rumbles of thunder the night before at about 4am though.
I want something fun!
