We had some really bad hail, the lawn was covered in ice

Heres those images I promised, and in order of bad, badder, aftermath.

And the end of the street was full of water, and it ran like a waterfall over the edge there

It was empty, but has just started to rain again, abit weaker, but its starting to fill up again...

About 10 mins ago I heard what was probably the 2nd loudest thunder I've ever heard. The loudest ever being when a house nearby was destroyed 12 years ago.

Back in 2001 an end terrace house around the corner from where we were living at the time took a direct lightning strike. The house had to be completely rebuilt from scratch.

Our French hosts in Juignac have just told us to close all the windows and shutters tonight. Apparantley theres a huge supercell on the way ......
