Lighting but no rain down here in West Sussex, Wish I was on the south downs you get some great views and close calls up their!

Also the south downs are right on my doorstep, house is on a the south side of the hill, the downs are a 10 minute walk away pretty much.

It isn't bad I suppose, I grew up here so I'm used to it.

Our family are from Horsham way though. Don't suppose you know Warnham Mill House? Our family lived there for generations. I loved that place. It is still there but when my great Aunt was no longer well enough to maintain the place it was bought by the Lucas family.

(Don't suppose you know them? The rich ones that own the deer park.)

Easy enough to remove, they're straight from camera. Just wanted to get some shots without ended up fried myself

we had lots of faint sheet lightning and constant rumblings for about an hour and then steady drizzle but pretty dissapointing, it's stupidly hot and humid and no light show

Sucks the rain has stopped and the lightning is hidden by clouds at the moment

Also I can't hear any thunder currently :confused:

how is that even possible. (Maybe the last one blew my ear drums

).

My favourite part is when the winds drop/stop kind of a "here we go" moment
