Tia Sharp

That only says 'at' the house, rather than in it, seeing as the alleyway joins onto the house as far as I can tell, that doesn't really clear it up.

Just seems odd to me to cordon off an entire alleyway if the body was inside the house - it would also beg the question of how they would have just randomly got a tip off about her being in the house, whereas someone walking down the alley may have seen/smelt something.

Well if it's "in", I know you are innocent until proven guilty but

1. He was alone with her for 12 hours
2. He was the last person to see her
3. He said he saw her leave the house and the alley

Going to have to be a pretty damn good brief to prove that somebody else dead it, brought her body back to the house and hid it there while he was in the house.

Nobody seems to know, but he always says there was another person who saw her by herself. I don;t think the Police have ever said that though.

that's what I thought, that means he was trying to divert attention away from himself
there needs to be an almighty explanation to demonstrate this guy's innocence

Apparently the mother left the house this morning before police came and found the body. Very interesting stuff.

Wonder what the motives are? The most obvious one is that the grandmother's boyfriend must've tried it on with her with disastrous results.

Whenever you hear of missing children the first thought is they're long dead, even if you hope they'll be found alive and well. Damn shame :(

In a twisted way I hope the person responsible doesn't off himself, even if he's just going to be a tax payers burden for a few decades

What?

If this was a "tactic" then why is he not already in custody?

I think you need to do just that. ;) The words "police" and "tactic" shouldn't be seen in the same sentence lol.

Im 45 and you have demonstrated over and over you're a little boy trying to be a grown up.

It is an almighty coincidence if he didn't do it. But he needs to be caught, charged if they have the evidence and tried.

What a pity, though given they could not find her on CCTV anywhere on the day she was missing it was highly likely she had been killed. When he was asked to make an appeal it was obviously because the Police suspected him.

A real shame. I do find it ridiculous when the media say 'everyone on the estate is in shock, everyone is in tears' though as that is clearly over blown rubbish. I hate that, why overplay a tragedy to make it seem more tragic. Surely it stands alone as a horrible tragedy without mawkish interviews with people who probably wouldn't know the family if they smacked into them in the street.

They must have some sort of evidence or they would not describe him as dangerous. They usually do not do that unless they strongly believe there would be a charge as its prejudicial.
