Tia Sharp

I've just been watching an interview with the step-grandad or whatever he is. Many of the comments picked up on the fact, and it is a bit spooky to hear, that he keeps saying things like "I loved her to bits" Quite a few times he uses the past tense. "She was always eating sausage rolls"

Edit: beaten!

During the interview Mr Hazell, pictured with Tia's uncle, said Tia had 'a loving home' and begged for her to come home to finish the gardening that he'd paid her £10 pocket money for

He either wants his tenner back or his garden done properly, MA GARDAN!

Told you. That's why the police put the relatives up in front of the cameras and study what they say. I reckon he's their prime suspect after all the past tense he used........

So he's left alone with her at night all alone? Duvet taken as evidence... I think it's pretty obvious for those of use who speculate. :(

Runaway with a tenner and not your mobile which you are addicted to?

The mobile makes no sense. Seen the mother say that she is glued to it and puts it on charge every night. Yet the step grandfather/uncle/half cousin by marriage - whatever said she didn't take her phone as he told her it was flat and he had just put it on charge........... something doesn't add up tbh.
In this case it does seem to be getting more and more likely to be whoever this guy is, or that he's implicitly involved at least.
But a savvy kid, I know 12 is young, but not that young, could have money her parents didn't know about stashed away or whatever, and could be aware that her phone would make her traceable. Like I say, seems less and less likely in this case, but in the base pretext that a 12 year old has gone missing, not that unlikely.

True except she wanted to take her phone and the step grandad said she couldn't.

If you were running away you would make sure you took it if you wanted it?

Like I said, in this case it's pretty obviously not what happened.

Indeed, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-19214964

They are now trying to find Stuart Hazel.

Police are seeking Stuart Hazel, the partner of Tia's grandmother Christine Sharp, and have asked people not to approach him.

Did the police not do an extensive search of the house straight away? Or has this body been taken to the house?

I know we shouldn't judge people on face value, but this was obviously going to be the end story here. The way the press were reporting it, the inferences and simply the whole feel of the events.

That being 'Stuart Hazel' if he has not or dose not do himself in better hope the police catch him before he gets spotted by anyone who is following the story. Any person I know would be hard pushed not to do him fatal harm, im sure that go's for 99% of people really.

Bad feeling from the very start. Urgh

Especially the way he kept saying "She should come back for her £10"

Although I understand that feeling, it is innocent until proven guilty
