i watched the interview with that guy last night and from that interview i was sure he had killed her,he was very suspect on that interview.I cant understand how he could go missing, the last person to see her alive and key suspect dissapears and it takes the police a week to find a body in a house she was last seen alive and never seen leave the house

Such a sad outcome.... Found the whole thing strange when he apparently advised her not to take her phone...

How he could sit there on national tv and lie like that is just shocking.

It's an art form crafted in lying from being a disgusting *****.

My theory is the summer heat-wave found the body for the police, or at least helped.

Makes me so sad and angry every time I see a story like this, somebody's world was just shattered.

Cannot get my mind round how anybody body could do such a thing...

I cannot imagine a scenario where i would be willing kill a child.

Worse part is that I doubt she was "just" killed. I fear she might have endured some sort of abuse.

I'd just like to know what the killer was thinking. Why he done what he done and how on earth he thought he could get away with it!

That's exactly my feelings on it, I said to the Mrs during the interview "I would be watching him like a hawk, he seems far too relaxed about the whole thing"

She accused me of being a callous *******!

It's exactly like the Ian Huntley case, he stood in front of the cameras as one of the last people that saw them and seemed far too relaxed about the whole thing.

How they have let him slip away I have no idea :(

And hi btw OSK :)

Awful news.

I'm certain he'll be caught soon. Typically when the Police have a main suspect with evidence like this it's game over, he's got no where to run.

Don't credit them with thinking like a 'normal' person or even having the slightest thoughts of anything like getting away with it, they possibly only think of themselves and their twisted take on reality.

I'm just curious on what he did to that poor girl seeing as they haven't 'identified' the body yet.

I wouldn't read into that statement too much. I think it just means it hasn't been formally identified by a member of the family which would be normal at this early stage. It doesn't mean the body is beyond recognition.

They don't announce ID until the family has been told and the ID has been officially done. So if they've only just found the body, it'll be a while yet. But they know full well who the body is right now.

This. There are several studies of similar people where their brains have shown abnormalities, particularly in the inability to feel empathy. You're wasting your time trying to understand why if you're not similarly affected I would imagine.

Not quite, it;s up to 70% in some years, I posted the stats a few posts up.

But on any investigation of a child suspected dead, if in 7 out of 10 cases it was the parents plus the other cases when it was other family members like uncles, grandparents etc, I know where I would be spending my time with the police investigation...............

fair enough - i did pluck the figure out the air.

The other aspect of this is if they put too much pressure on the obvious target, they're open to a world of abuse from the press & the now victim if it turns out not to be him. With the media frenzy it would have been hard to keep him under watch without making it obvious...

Now the body in the house I agree with. It should be common practice to get a erm.. 'corpse dog' (no idea what they're called but you get the idea) to the home immediately, regardless of how insensitive it may seem.
