Tiger Woods 2007 Demo on Marketplace

I think it's down purely to the number of users online at the time.

Fortunately the hours I work allow me to download demos anytime from 12am right through to 9-10am. I've never had a slow download when downloading at those times.

As a general rule I would expect downloading something between 11am and 10-11pm to go very slow. I wouldn't even bother downloading something in the evening.

It would be the same if I downloaded this tomorrow morning, Live seems to have slowed right down recently. Again.
 
Mine came down ok, and i must say i quite like the game, first console version ive played since PGA on the megadrive and im impressed, was gonna get this on the PC but the demo may have changed my mind, EA sports games are getting better, NHL07 is very good (loads better then 2k6 was) and fifa is allot better than the 2 other versions this year (i'll still be getting PES though)

I know EA bashing is like a sport in it's self but they have of the best 360 titles out there.

Try cancelling the download and restarting it straight away. I've had it happen before where a download has been going slow, I cancelled it, restarted it a couple of minutes later and it was going noticably faster. Worth a try. :)
 
Thanks for the restarting tip, first time I tried downloading it it didn't even start for over an hour. Restarted after another hour and it was still only on 4%, now 5 minutes after a restart it's on 15% :confused:
Something odd going on with the download service. :rolleyes:
 
Finally finished the download and had blast. On the first hole I took too many shots and then on the second hole I holed my second shot for an eagle! :eek: :D After I had followed the tutorial and actually learnt what I needed to do I really enjoyed it and will probably go on my preorder list now. :)
 
I finally gave up trying to download it. I'll try again when i get home tonight and see if its going any faster.
 
This game is excellent, a good improvemet on the last and the graphics look much nicer. Pre-ordered it after I came out the demo :D
 
Had a go on this earlier. Stills plays pretty much as the past versions, which is a good thing, though I was hoping it would be more difficult. I knocked off 4 back to back birdies first go on the demo, even though I haven't played this series for a couple of years.
 
Always buy Tiger Woods so this is almost a guaranteed purchase, only problem is Im trying to save up. Then again, Im sure my lass wont notice the difference bettwen the 2206 and 2007 versions :p

2206 :eek: and i thought Battlefield 2142 was futuristic :p
 
I'm not exactly a golf fan to say the least, but I really enjoyed this, as did my girlfriend. Depending on the price, it maybe one I look out for when it is released.
 
I didn't have very high expectations, but I'm impressed :)

I've managed Eagles on the 3rd and 4th courses, and felt so good doing so :D

This just made the top of my most wanted list.
 
Not downloaded it yet, big golf fan but TW2006 for the 360 was pap, poor graphics and no side games. I hope MS release Links for the 360

You wont be disapointed with the graphics in 2007. A big improvement on 2006. Tiger just looks so real in this :)

Holy bumpage :o

Just tried this and tbh it feels to arcadey and lacks the feel that you are in control of your shots. The putting is awkward too imo :(

PC control method (Trueswing) is much nicer. I mean setting the percentage power of your shot then hitting? Wierd system :(

That's not what you do is it? I thought the bottom left hand corner told you how much power you need to put into the shot?

Either way, awesome game, a definate buy for me. This and Pro Evo will pass those cold winter nights on Live nicely. :)
