Tiger Woods 2007 Demo on Marketplace

Downloaded this the other day and although the gfx looks nice, i cant say much for the game itself. But then ive never been a fan of golf and galf games except for everybodys golf on the psp....that was a brilliant game based on golf as it made it fun and not to hard to get to grips with imho.

Nope that figure changes when you move the right thumbstick :( Back/Forward on the left thumbstick merely controls the tempo of the swing :/

The right stick controls the angle of the club face, power is still controlled with the swing I thought?

The bottom left % never changes for me.

Loving this game, think I am going to buy it, the gameplay is awesome, cant wait to play some of you off here and bear you.
 
This isn't me bigging myself up or anything, but it's just soooo easy!! There's almost no challenge to it at all - first try at the four demo holes I ended up 3 under.

I hope they just made the demo nice & easy to get the punters in.

Its probably because your playing as Tiger who will have the stats and skills maxed out. It will be harder when you create your own golfer and start from scratch.

Thats how its been in past games anyway.

Aye, I've had eagles on all four holes now, and can get birdies without any effort.

From the get-go, I was hammering A during every swing, to get as much power/distance as possible, but, it's just not needed. A little spin here and there, but you can happily do without.
 
reallu loved the demo, graphics are a huge improvemnt and it plays great too. is a little easy though.


will defo be buying this one
 
This game is not too bad at all...... i downloaded it to show my dad (he's a massive golf fan) and he loves playing it! He's never played a game before in his life! He even said the graphics are amazing! I was like where the hell have you heard the word graphics from! so it must be good ;)
 
Downloaded this and loved it, apart from the fact the wife was better at it than I was :p

It was quite easy but I'm sure that is just to give you a feel for the game, would you be tempted to buy something where the demo was ridiculously hard, probably not.

Thats ridiculous. This is the major downside of the seemless online integration and Xbox Live Marketplace. I bit the bullet and bought the GRAW expansion but thats been it so far, certainly no way Im paying for extra cars in PGR or golfers in TW.
 
I'm sure we're all surprised its ea who are becoming the biggest money grabbing **** going over in game content :rolleyes:

Apparently this is content that you can actually unlock in the game anyway! So essentially they trying to con people into paying money for cheat codes.
