For the past few years I use timberclick. It seems to be some sort of aggregator using smaller merchands, but they were always cheaper than large builders merchand chains and all the orders were always delivered top quality, clean and straight as if I selected them personally.

Try a local demolition company or reclamation yard, much cheaper.

3m is normally easy in a regular car. I often get 2.4m in the pork.
