Time do you rise then sleep..If not working?q

How is getting up at say 12 any lazier than getting up at 6 if you've had the same amount of sleep? :p

Anyway, usually 3-4am and up at 10-11 for me.

yeh regardless of time to bed I think 8-10 hours sleep is ok..

Sometimes I feel fine with 7 but I feel crap if I stay in bed longer than 10 hours and I feel grumpy and moody all day if I dont get at least 7.

I think maybe 7.5-8.5 is key but 7-10 is cool.

Also funny I notice depends on my days. If I aint done much 7-8 hours is fine. If I been playing football or lifting weights I dont wake up for 9-10 hours lol...and if I get up earlier than 8-9 hours I feel weak and crap. Definatley need to sleep longer if Ive been working out.

I work night shifts atm. Work 9pm-8am then sleep 10am til usually about 3 if i'm lucky.

When i'm not working it can be anything, i don't sleep regularly at all. Sometimes 1am til 11am, sometimes 3am until about 11am. I very rarely get up earlier than 10, which is something i regret and am looking to change as i don't like to miss mornings

I feel for you, rarely got a proper mornings sleep when I was doing nights as someone always wanted to run a leaf blower/drill a hole in the wall/practice their opera singing.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LEAF BLOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guy next door seems to do a ridiculous amount of DIY out in his garden as well, but the leaf blower is mental, he only has a tiny garden too, i never saw a leaf on there before he got it!

I can put up with most of it as i use earplugs to good effect, but in this heat it is much harder, i tried to sleep today, woke up at 12 feeling completely refreshed, thinking i'd slept for ages only to see i'd been asleep for about 90 minutes.

I actually don't mind it too much at the moment, but will not be doing it for mch longer.

Oh and they let their dog out into teh garden at about 7am every morning and it just constantly barks. They then call it in about half an hour later telling it to stop barking! I am amazed at how they constantly seem suprised by this, he does it every morning:mad:

Could never manage earplugs. Could never sleep with them, would pull the duvet over my head to make it dark. Occasionally if it was a nice morning would grab some beers from Waitrose and drink them on the bench in front of the office trying to wind up the day shift.

Bed at 23:00-00:00 up at 06:30-07:00.

Bloody dole rats/work-shy students :rolleyes: Why be asleep during the day you lazy buggers? :p:p

If I'm not working then I'm normally up 07:00-08:00 .... it's a 2-3hr lie in compared to when I am in the office and I still have all day to do things.

At uni.

In the week I go to sleep at 12, up at half 7 to go out of flat for 8:30
Weekend I'm up at half 7, to get out of flat for half 8 for 60-70 mile bike ride.

At the moment I'm getting up in the week at between 8:30 and 10:30 it varies really, it's a bonus if I get up at 8:30.

Weekends I'm up at 7 to get out of house for 8:15.

I'd force myself to get up at 7am every morning and get used to it, but I'd just be uber bored and fall asleep if I did nothing but watch the TV or internet.

My sleep patterns are a joke as I work from home. Might spend one week getting up at 5am then sleeping at 10pm. Then all it would take would be one nights bad sleep for whatever reason and I'll be getting up at 3pm then sleeping at 7am.

A proper routine is the one thing I miss about a 9-5!

Varies depending on what shift I finish on ie. days or nights .... and if school is on .... and if I've had a skinfull ... list goes .... hell I'm just happy to wake !

Weekdays - Bed about 12am, up at 7am
Weekends - Bed about 2am, up at 10am.

I do have the odd day when im up till 3 or 4am.

Mine is quite varied... I'd say anything from 23:00-03:00 going to sleep, and 07:30-10:00 waking up.

When I was unemployed/student I was a lot like you though.

Go to bed around 2/3 and get up around 10/11 maybe sometimes 4-12. The former is what I do when I'm working anyway.
