Time for a change

RX8 if you don't mind fuel costs. It handles like its on rails, is proper luxury inside, seats 4 adults quite easily. Unique rotary engine, which if you take care of it like it should (i.e. using the whole rev range when warm & regular oil) it will last a long time. May not be the fastest car stock, but if your budget is £25, you can buy them new or 1 year old for around £15k, and add a supercharger or turbo (or increase the displacement). BTW I have owned one for 7 months, and is probably the best decision I have made. No regrets.

Always good to have a wide variety of opinions, but why with a budget of 25k, would he go for a car that is easily available for 8k?

the lack of softtop is a bigger issue, also its a pure fanboy post. (i like RX8s but the interior is not proper luxury by anyones standards)

Unfortunately Headrat, with only 12 ebay transactions youre going to be putting off potential buyers. Shame you couldn't have asked someone else to list it, for example I have over 140 positive, I bet some others here would have much more to. If I wanted to buy a Z4 off ebay for that kind of money I would be wary of anyone with low ratings Im afraid :(

Dosen't bother me in the slightest. Ebay is different when you're talking about cars imo.

I wouldn't buy a car without viewing it and subsequently meeting the seller, which would matter far more than the fact that someone has bought and sold 100 DVD's has no bearing on my judgement of them.

Aye I know what you're saying but it will instantly put a number of people off the fact he has a low number of transactions.

Four seater soft top eh? Doesn't a 996 cab have rear seats? I know the coupe does and a friend of mine could fit one of his small kids in the back and the other in the front.

Nobody is going to buy it without coming to look at it are they, it's no different to a car add in a newspaper!!

Youd be surprised! My brother has sold a few cars on E-Bay and on 3 of them, they people won the auction online, and just pitched up with the money to collect!

He's also bought a few cars on the bay, but he always goes to see the cars and tries to deal outside of the auction on a purely personal sale basis.

ha ha, I've sold several cars on ebay (much cheaper I admit) and nobody has ever come to view the cars even tho I've made it quite clear that viewing takes place before the auction ends and they just come with the cash once they've won it. One guy attempted to beat me when collecting down saying that my stamped service book was not good enough proof of service history and I bascially told him to go swivel and get a print out from the dealers or HPI if he was that bothered and he coughed up in the end.

I've sold 4 cars on ebay now and no one has turned up to look at any of them. The first 3 were understandable as they were all around £1k or less, but the latest one went for £3.7k - lots of bids from different people and no one had looked at it first.

Having said that, I've bought 5 cars off ebay now and only went to look at 2 of them - However, again not spending big money.

There are a few big 'ebay only' trade sellers that have huge amounts of positive feedback that I would happily buy most things from without seeing them though. For a private sale like the OPs, where its an oldish car for big money, I would want to see it.

Car sold yesterday, now the business starts of choosing my new ride ;)

Doh! You can remove my msn invite if you want then, unless you want to chat anyway.. might be handy having a previous Z4 owner on my msn if you dont mind.

Sure thing gord, first person that came to see it bought it, they were a forum member but I for to ask what their username was!
