It is waaaaay better CPU at gaming, better averages/lows and in games which use the cache it'll leave the 5700X in the dust.

Is the 5700X a bad gaming CPU? No. It is much better than the 2700X.

Im not that hard up for the £40 so if its that much better then ill go that way, can you still overclock these CPUs?

I do appreciate this help. As a long time forum user, ive seen many platforms come and go but the numbers confuse me at the moment. I nearly purchased a 7600XT earlier thinking it was going to be better than the 6750XT.

Paying for the 16GB with that one. You can pay more for a 4060 Ti 16GB than a 4070 and the 4070 is 29% faster (in TPU's GPU database)

The 6750 XT will likely disappear soon though.

I wouldn't like to make any predictions for the graphics card market in 3 months time, 3 months can be like 5 years sometimes

That said, stock for RDNA 2 is definitely drying up, so while the £300 6750 XT has been around for quite awhile, the last stock could happen at any time.

If RDNA 4 launches this year, you might even get something better for your money, but yeah, who knows.

That seems quite certain, i briefly looked at some benchmarks and didnt show lots in it, barring the cache and lower clock speeds.

I assume we are talking about the XFX one... typically ive not been fan of them for GPU, the last PSU was great but i think Seasonic were the manufacturers.

That's the one. It wouldn't be my first choice brand either, but it is the best value pick for £300.

The next pick for me, would be a 7800 XT for under £450 or a 4070 as close to £450 as you can get it.
