Could possibly improve this just needs more time/work :)
Still got HT Enabled, just a 5.2 all core over clock and some tweaks to the ram which is the 8 pack 3600mhz cl16 kit ... have taken this to 4000Mhz and tweaked the timing slightly which seems to help the cpu score in this case ... the highest ive got my cpu score is 15600 :) Cpu is watercooled which helps quite a bit with temps .

old score on a 1080ti but got 15550 cpu score on this run , it goes up and down a little each run for whatever reason https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/51077609

must still be a gpu thing?!
as my 2080ti score is over 16k cpu… meh

its the extra 0.001 mhz on your cpu that have tipped the scales in your favour;) I've seen a few in the 16000 to 17000 cpu range at 5.2 and they all have one thing in common , they are all using 4400mhz ram so i would place a good bet on that playing a part in the cpu score especially if they start to tighten the timings  Gpu must also play some sort of role in the cpu score considering the difference between your 2080ti and 980ti...

Just tweaked memory timings and gave a big boost. 19616 now.

Im on a 360 AIO for CPU and Standard 3090 FE

Also dont run fans at 100%. Ive got mine at 70% and temps max at 59. 100% takes up some power from the card (well in theory).

Latest version of X1 allows the FE to go to 114% power now. Dont think it allowed that before.

CPU letting me down but my gpu is smashing it
