... thought I'd have one more push with the power mods to see if I can extend my leads at the top No.1 for my card and CPU combo... and managed it but this card is maxed now... so time to calm it back down... CPU was crying rofl rofl rofl

Intersting to see your 3090 is around 85% quicker than my 5700xt, shame they stopped xfire with the Navi10 series, would've been interesting to see how 2x5700xt's would've been. Nice score btw... very nice!

Hopefully the new amd GPU's can give the 3080's a fight, then it should make the next upgrade interesting.
Fingers crossed
Says the man who departed with over £1500 for a g card:eek::D
Then a £1k 4k monitor and several hundred more to get a cpu and board:D:D

I should be banned from online frenzies:p

Yeah I'm holding on and on and on... just GPU for me, this time around, whatever is the fastest AMD will sort me...

yeah was sooo tempted by the 3090 just to have the best again, but I'll be honest, I'm building a home cinema and that's took my coinage hahaha. Another little fact was looking at your CPU, that's got 25% more cores than me and performed 24% vbetter in that benchmark, interesting what Intel have been doing over the last 7 years, not convinced they've achieved much other than push mhz? Your single core creams mine though bigtime hahaha, would love to get this over 5ghz, most I've achieved in windows was 4,935mhz... just wouldn't go higher hahaha

I shall meet you again as soon as Big navi arrives ;)

When i turned on xmp in the bios it wouldn't boot:eek:.

I need to have a fiddle ;)

Yeah that will defiantly need to be sorted then , free performance waiting to be unlocked ;) Your CPU score will go up once its active and will also increase your overall score at the same time :D

Ok manual fudging it is:eek:
It will now boot at 2800mhz but not a banana higher.

I'm guessing I'll have to invest in some ram on its qvl list at some point;).

Running 3d mark now. Hoping there's no crash:eek:

2800mhz survived 3d mark- gained around 10% increase

@Kaapstad sorry for my modging but until i get some better ram i'm done for a while.;)
Run better overall score at slightly lower 5Ghz - rather than 5.2ghz

18155
Cpu score: 13448
GPU score: 19351
10850k @ 5Ghz
3090 @ ? they read different than in firestorm. +1817 boost clock + 200mhz on memory clock.

Excellent result , that's a nice boost to your overall score from tweaking the Ram alone and its not even at its full potential yet :D interesting that your getting a better cpu score at 5ghz rather than 5.2ghz

Black Friday just round the corner and the perfect time to pick up some 4000mhz+ DDR4 ;)

Can’t even run this program after the latest update on default settings just crashes on the last part ? Anyone else getting errors

Running 4K games with no problems at 9050mhz clock with no issues so not sure what’s up.

which update would that be nvidia or 3dmark?

my 3dmark version is 1.2 and i'm using the latest nvidia driver v456.71 and have no problems at all.

crashes on the last part would suggest your cpu isnt stable, as the last test is cpu only
