Came to order a Gibbo, gone up £20, bugger snooze ya lose!

It had to happen unfortunately.

We held out January sale out longer than most competitors did but for the last month the exchange rates have gone from worse to terrible.

Live rate as of now 1.51!
Predicted to go down to 1.44

To think just over a month ago it was above 1.60 and as high as 1.66 area....

DISASTER!


For those who do not understand, well the cost in USD does not change, so a $600 graphics card purchased on 1.64 rate equals our cost of £366, todays cost on that same card with a 1.50 rate is £400 !!

Yes a price increase of £34 our cost on a $600 product........

Managed to switch mine with a phone call, because I was meant to get Infinity Black instead of the normal Black but I wasn't paying attention.

Galaxy being sued due to using word Galax and Galaxy is trademarked in Germany (Europe) so they requested we revert back to KFA2 naming for now.

Has no impact on anything, just that Galax, Galaxy cannot brand their products with those names in Europe. Back to KFA2 it is!

I will be buying a graphics card at the end of the month, was set on a 970. Is the pricing likely to come down or another promotion be introduced? I'm not in the states until march so hopefully something comes up before then!

It's a shame because Galax sounds far better, what happens with all the stuff that's already branded, are they still able to sell that just not create new products?
