Time to move on?

I have been using my 2 x 60GB SSD drives in RAID 0 since they first came out.(As my OS drives)

My question is wether it is worth using RAID these days? Would I be better of replacing them with a single larger volume SSD?

depends how much of a hassle it is to maintain them vs no raid and trim support ect with a single drive

the latest ssds just about saturate sata3 connections having raid0 800mb/s sounds good but I cant really imagine ever needing it, in practice a new sata 3 samsung 830 or m4 will be more than enough for a long time

tbf they have been fairly hassle free and re formats are no bother either with the right RAID driver.
