One that always pops up down the pub... and probably has here... but what the hey!

IF we did discover time travel, surely we'd know about it now! So i reckon we are all wiped out before we get the chance to progress to such technology, or its something that has been cooked up by tv and will never happen :p

Any time travellers here fancy putting me out of my misery?

Well Sam Beckett couldn't tell anyone. so maybe half the people in the world are being forced to put right the worlds wrongs ... hoping their next leap, wil be the leap home!

why do you think we would know about it by now?

You could say the same about most diseases.. and who 20 years ago, thought we'd all be walking around with phones stapped to our ears.

Science has no boundaries but that said however, i think the idea of time travel is impossible tbh.

If time travellers exist, what would happen if they started telling people all about it? Maybe the space time continuim would explode  who's to know?

Not necessarily. The 'many universes' theory of TT suggests that, at the point where a traveller arrives in the past, the universe 'splits', so we are protected from any consequences of his travel.

If you had a return ticket in a time machine where would you go or what would you like to see ?

I'd go back in time and kill Glenn Hoddle's parents before he was born...

Actually...that gives me an idea for a film......

Bit of an urban myth underground thing late 90's

although propbably a crock, some of the stuff he predicted apparently came true

Thats actually a really strange site, just had a read of a few posts this time traveller made :p

Would be cool if it were true!

What if we can travel sideways through time though.. moving between alternate timelines. We could go back in time then move sideways back where we belonged and destroy the universe with paradoxes!
