Time Traveller Caught on 1928 Charlie Chaplin Film?

Bet she's got a rubbish signal what with zero mobile phone masts around ;-)

you honestly think we will need masts in the future?

go back 70 years people would have dreamed you could have a phone without a wire or go back hundred years that we would had men on the moon and machines on mars.

Just because you can't envisage technology of the future doesn't mean it wont happen.

the no mast argument is stupid.

why would she be talking into her own hearing aid?

1929

The first portable hearing instrument with amplifying tube, built into a suitcase.

can you see here carrying a suitcase? It was only released in 1929 how widespread was it? was it released before or after when this video was made?

The first hearing aids to fit inside a case or lady's handbag were produced in about 1934. However, these were still extremely unwieldy[/I].

Er.. the mast argument is stupid when we're discussing a time traveler captured in a Charlie Chaplin movie. Right.
Based on your opinion, shouldn't she be talking into a pin badge or something? :p

LOL

LOL

If we are talking about the possibility of time travel is it too hard to comprehend that if we have mastered time travel we could have worked out how to have mobile phones without masts?
