Driving into people on sidewalks has been a popular choice of attack from extreme sections of that religion in recent times. Be honest, if you read a headline about a vehicle mowing into people on a sidewalk, it doesn't cross your mind at all it could be terror related?
From what I saw of Times Square you've got plenty of time to sit in your car and hit the horn while not moving.
I assumed it was given recent events.
No one wants to assume it is, but after things constantly being plastered over the media over the past few years, it's beginning to be a given that any larger scale thing is a terrorist, and they're Islamic, sorry but it's the truth. Same way if there's a school shooting you assume it's in America, by a teenage white male, you don't even need to bother reading the article to paint a picture in your mind of what stereotype they will fill.
Don't blame people for making assumptions, blame the people doing this type of **** and causing people to make them.

It was an M60A3, I remember watching the news reports at the time, guy was shot through the turret hatch.

You are absolutely right. I mean the first post says this: "A car has crashed in Times Sq, killing one."
and then literally 4 posts later someone says this: "hmm sadly it doesn't sound too much like an accident"
Literally cant stop laughing at that. A car crash kills one therefore it doesn't sound too much like an accident. Lmao some people are so deluded it's unbelievable. You've got to have some serious issues if you think a car crash doesn't sound "too much" like an accident.
The funny thing is this is the same person who always gets EXTREMELY defensive and starts crying when I criticise the Media, to the point that he starts breaking forum rules to try to stop me talking about the Media! He must be some sort of paid for misinformation/propaganda spreader.
