Tiny Tina's Wonderlands ! - Borderlands spin-off

Started playing yesterday and really enjoying it so far. However, cannot get the game to launch at all today? Keeps saying Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has crashed, yet played perfectly yesturday?

Try validating the game files. There was an update yesterday so maybe it corrupted somehow.

I had this problem with DX12,

Try going into my computer, right click c: drive, properties, then under general select "disk cleanup" then tick "directx shader cache" and hit ok,

So it finally launched on Steam at 6pm today but, unless I'm missing something, the Chaotic Great Edition isn't available, despite the press release claiming it would be?
Green Man Gaming has it for steam

Edit: I can see it on steam, it's cheaper on GMG though

Yeah Chaotic showed up after a short period, obviously just a glitch.

I've read that the DLCs are fairly weak for this game but then the Chaotic was only another 11 quid so I thought why not.

I bought it on day one. It hasn't dragged me in like the original did. I've yet to actually finish it. I just play it now and again.

The metaplot doesn't really grab me. In the original you were working your way through a child's grief to the loss of a friend.

This caught my eye, tempted over xmas period. What's people's feedback now its been out a few months?

It's a decent enough game, storyline maybe aint quite as strong as previous borderlands titles but the gameplay itself is pretty solid.

The addition of melee weapons means you can make some fun builds, eg my main build would increase melee damage by shooting people, then my melee weapon would increase movement speed from kills so you'd end up blitzing around the place like the energizer bunny.

The combat encounters (basically arena battles) seemed a bit meh when i first met one, but after a while it made a lot more sense in terms of having pure combat sections where you can focus on going full doom-music kicked in without worrying about exploring, grabbing loot drops/chests or trying to keep track of story dialogue.
