Titan Xenomorph Problem

UPDATE:

right, after all of the problems, phoned up ocUK customer support on saturday, and the motherboard wouldn't accept the profile settings saved for the bios, so the machine was picked up on monday. Arrived there on tuesday, and i've now gotten my machine back today.

now, here's my latest problem with this machine. upon opening it to re-install my 5830 so i can boot up the pc, there is an akasa venom fan from my cpu cooler just completely loose inside the case, only connected by some wires.. what do i do?

i am beginning to get really frustrated with the quality control.. how can it be tested if there is a cpu fan just completely loose?! i'm very disappointed as i've been waiting to hook my machine back up to play left for dead 2 :(

not a happy customer unfortunately....

Sorry to hear about that :(

I would assume this has become loose during transit, take some pictures and post in the customer forum section with brief description.

You can try and re-install the fan on the cooler or you may want to wait for Ocuk to respond.

I don't really know how to clip it back on, and some of the metal grills at the bottom of the cpu cooler are bent...

im well disappointed...:(

any chance of an installation without a pdf file? pc can't open them for some reason...

pretty much, should all four rubber pins be the same shape? i think the bottom two have ripped at the top...

all i need to do is replace these, fit it back onto the front and that is that? everything will be ok?

The rubber mounts just pull through the fan to hold into place, if 2 are broken then just use the 2 good ones, once the new ones arrive install them.

right, figured out what the problem is. one way or another, the heads for the rubber pins ripped and were stuck in the cpu cooler at the bottom. i've removed these, the only problem now standing in my way is i dont know how to remove the broken rubber pins from the fan so i can replace them with new ones.. help! :)

unfortunately, i dont know what you're talking about :p

the rubber pin is wider on both sides of the hole, so I cant really wedge it out.. even so, how would i get the new ones in after? ;)

nvm, yanked them out ;)

now, is there any chance any other damage could have been done? can't see anything else really..

As these are rubber (hopefully) they have some give which will allow you to pull them out, I used these on case fans and given them a good tug.

Just to confirm these are stuck in the fan?

oh, i managed to tug them out and pull the new ones in.. just need to install the graphics card..

just a quick question, the wires for the cpu cooler, there is a sort of case around the wire, don't know how to explain it, feels like rubber.. anyway, at the base of where it connects to the motherboard, there's a fraction of an exposed wire.. should i be concerned?

ok thanks.. wow, nothing is going my way today.. broken cpu fan, baking hot room, and a phillips screwdriver that is nowhere to be found..

You are whisker away from being sorted. We all get teething problems. The graphics card should just slot in. Fan on the bottom.
