Titanfall 2 - have you seen its multiplatform?

I have not touched BF1 all weekend since getting TF2 on Friday. Multiplayer is seriously seriously good! It is so satisfying and fun. Quite face paced, without being too fast paced and jumpy. Not touched single player yet but definitely will do.

I highly recommend this game.
 
Grabbed the BF1 and TF2 Deluxe Bundle off the store last night for just over a £100 with CDkeys vouchers and discount. Was going to purchase the games when I get my Pro but thought it'd be nice to see the upgrades to the games beforehand.

Hated the TF2 tech test but loving the full game! Looking forward to playing the SP but what I played of the MP it's infinitely better than CoD.
 
Apparently sales have bombed on this even with it being on the PS4, maybe they should have let MS push the hell of it again like they did with TF1 for hype, EA has left this new IP out to die.

Or maybe people remember the first one, it was hyped it was a good game and I enjoyed it but it just don't have anything to keep the community going and it died very, very quickly.

I know I seem to be in the minority on here but this is exactly the same just not as good as the first one (apart from the single player) and it was obvious that this would go the same way as the first.

Again though I think it was a crazy time to release, I think it would have stood a better chance releasing early next year as it just wasn't going to compete with BF1 (best MP FPS this year imo) or COD which everyone will moan about and still buy next week.
 
This one is a good bit better and the campaign is shaping to be one of the best in FPS shooters in a long time.
Its a lot different from the first one, the pace is better, it just works a lot better, certainly from a twitch shooter experience. Seems to be most that play this then BF1 are coming back to TF2.
 
Wow just played story missions, its like Half life 2 somehow. i'm shocked how good this game plays :)

i played COD beta and Titanfall 2, COD can't touch this its miles better. i think xbox will be safe for player base due to titian fall 1 had 5000+ active players last time i checked

Jase is talking a lot of sense. I remember similar "wow best gave evaaaar" comments on the first one. I was one of the guys who played beta and recommended the game to others many times. Yet it was missing something and soon became stale. The player base died a death very quickly which was strange given that TF was a great game. To this day I cant put my finger on what the problem was. For all intents and purposes, it was a cracking game to play.

Im hopingnTF2 wont suffer the same fate but unfortunately I definitely feel like i have been here before and that history may well repeat itself.
 
Thoughts so far:

- Campaign is awesome, think I'm about 80% of the way through and already looking forward to replaying it
- MP has improved since the beta, it's great fun and netcode seems very good.

There are a reasonable number of people playing but launching between BF1 and COD must go down as one of the worst decisions ever. They really should have held off until Jan/Feb in the gaming lull.

~80% of my active friends list is people playing BF1 at the moment, TF2 isn't getting much of a look in. By the time they tire of BF1, they'll have discounted TF2 as being dead :(

Such a shame because the game does so many things right and Respawn are awesome but whoever coordinated the release/marketing ought to be looking for a new job right now.

I was saying the same thing to somebody I work with. It should have been released early next year.
I'm really hoping people pick this up at Christmas and boost the player count. Or they realise IW is crap and trade it for this :D
 
Finished the campaign tonight, absolutely amazing..one of the best FPS solo games I have played in a very long time.

We are talking Half Life 2 of shooters here but with no filler, some crazy levels of imagination went on.
