Titanfall to get Nvidia GameWorks features and 4K support on PCs

Ordered Monday he is posting it Friday. It's sent express 2to 4 days.
Payed 465.00

Nice Daz and feedback please brother :) I am so glad I pulled the trigger and paired with a couple of Titan's should be ok for medium/low settings :p

As soon as mine arrives, I will do a detailed review and compare it to my 1440P Dell IPS monitor. My Asus is a TN panel and it is an awesome picture and I have no qualms about buying another TN after comparing the Asus next to the Dell.

That'll be great, Looking forward to it. Have my eye on this monitor also

Will also be wanting a update from Daz on this :)
could get sucked in by Daz as i sometime do, but im going to try resist until the summer before i step up to 4K TV/Monitor.

Apart from PC/Gaming theirs just not enough 4K movies, if any :(

Feel sorry for TF console players thats stuck with 720p for now i think

Some TN's have improved angles and you normally sit in front of it anyway correct?

I have seen TN LG TV/monitors (2013 range) that are fine from all angles but bellow.

Respawn and Nvidia will also update Titanfall to support 4K displays
What am I missing here? Surely there is no support needed for this - the maximum resolution all modern PC games will render at is whatever the desktop is set to, in this case 4k?

I thought the same but maybe Titanfall didn't support 4K from the off. I know it had a few release bugs (not as bad as BF4 by all accounts).

I shall have to buy this game me thinks :)

Since having IPS I really don't get on well with TN. Poor viewing angles would ruin any screen for me whether 4K / 8K etc.. With some of the TN's it doesn't matter if your sat right in front of it, a slight head movement a inch to the left right or up and down results in color loss and darker / lighter picture. I assume you know that about TN?

I know some TN panels have improved lately, is their any spec on this screen? Look forward to Gregster getting his he will give honest opinion on the quality of the screen. If it's ok wouldn't mind getting one of these. I wasn't expecting to go 4K until 2015, but at that price I may be tempted.

I feel you may have been burnt on previous TN's Boom but I did pay £500 for my Asus VG278H monitor (which is TN) and running SBS with a £500 Dell IPS, the image quality is damned good. IPS for me is better at deep colours and blacks look black but for everyday gaming, I still use the Asus TN panel. If I get low to the ground, the TN looks rubbish, while the Dell still holds its clarity but I don't tend to game laying on the floor (Might have done a few times when drunk but can't remember, so doesn't count :p).

TN has certainly moved on and PCM2 is the man to explain why (the monitor section man is a legend). I certainly have no issues buying another TN but if it is muck, I will let you know.

Damned waiting game is gonna kill me :D

So on the higher end TN panels are the viewing angles not a distraction if moving your head around? The TN panels I have used would lose color / contrast just with slight head movements. If this TN panel isn't like that I might pick one up. Look forward to you getting yours :)

looking forward to your thoughts on this one gregster.... i'm trying to hold out for the swift but the lack of info and delays are getting annoying.

Not at all, I gave the wife one of my Asus 3D monitors, as her 1680 panel had died and I can read it clear as day from a very tight side angle but couldn't her previous monitor and had to get fairly square on.

Similar to IPS glow, cons with them all.

This is true, one of our 27" IPS from the UK has bad IPS glow on left hand side of the screen. The best screen I have used is this Shimian 27" IPS 1440P. The panel is almost perfect. Only downside is it omits a piercing shrill like sound every now and again :p

Like you say they all have some kind of cons..

I really want a Dell (For the long warranty) 27" 4K IPS with 60hz. That would be amazing. I may just wait it out until it they release some.

Looking forward to your comments when you get yours Gregster. 4K should look amazing, no more jaggies..

My Dell U2713HM has served me well and it's an amazing monitor in my opinion, and it's for this reason that I'll likely get another Dell IPS when I go 4K - which might be a long way off yet given the prices :(
