What started out largely as just a new mobo/CPU/GPU into my existing rig as a bog standard upgrade for Elite 4 has sprouted arms and legs as instead I've ended up with a hankering to do a new project over the next month or so. It's an evolution of my previous build, that some of you may remember, with the Cape Cora tubes on my old TJ07. This time though I'm also going to go with a slim 360 radiator in the roof for additional cooling when required.

The Case:-
Pulse Modding TJ07 with powder coated internals, modded for a 360rad in the roof, mesh style to match the original

The PC:-
Asus Rampage IV Extreme Black Edition (still to come)
Intel i7-4930K
4x 4GB Samsung Green RAM
2x Gigabyte 780Ti
Creative ZxR
2x Seasonic Platinum Fanless 520W
Samsung 840 Evo 120GB
Samsung 840 Evo 1TB
Pioneer BDR-S08XLT

The loop:-
Koolance CPU-380i on the CPU
EK-FB RE4BE on the motherboard (still to come)
EK-FC 780 Ti - Acetal on the GPUs, complete with backplate and Terminal Dual Parallel (still to come)
Aquacomputer D5 + EK-D5 X-Top CSQ
EK-Bay Single Res CSQ
22x Cape Cora HF
Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 360 radiator, complete with Noiseblocker BN-Blacksilent Pro fans
Masterkleer 11/8mm tubing
Matt black and nickel fittings
Koolance black QD3 quick disconnects
Mayhems Pastel Pure Black or Ice White

Monitoring/control:-
Aquaero 5 LT
Aquacomputer MPS Flow 400 flowmeter
In line temperature sensors and external sensors
2x socket power monitors

I've still got a couple of decisions to make, I already have the pair of 290X GPUs but these may get replaced by 780Ti cards depending on the outcome of reviews later this week, particularly around overclocking power consumption/performance figures.

The motherboard block also may not fit, not overly concerned about the SB which won't get particularly hot anyway, but the power regulators can be critical for maintaining stability with high CPU voltage so I'm keen to watercool these so if the block doesn't fit I may need to look at alternatives or wait until a dedicated black edition block comes out.

Also undecided whether to go with the pure black Mayhems or for the contrast in the bay reservoir go with the ice white which presumably will also by a lot clearer to make out the level.

Always good to see a project in a tj07 :) I look forward to some pictures.

Any reason you are using 2x500w PSU's instead of 1x1000W? I know the 500W's are fanless but wouldn't of thought the fans are that noisy on a 1000w psu are they?
 
Well, I'm not sure what sort of power consumption I could be looking at once I start overclocking, it could be 600W+ for sure and adding an additional fan which I won't have any control over is something I'm trying to avoid. The 520W units are also in effect the fanned 850W versions minus the fan. Can't remember what site it was, but when they did a full load test on them, with no external cooling, they didn't even break a sweat at 100% load - they noted that it was the best power regulation they had ever seen as well.
 
Such a nice spec Jokester, on the psu I was told to crossfire my 7970 that 850w was ok but you may need more with them cards.

Edit: I would probably use white coolant to break it up or a couple of well placed lights to give a low glow maybe if you could backlight the motherboard if possible

Immensely impressed with the powder coating finish. Just oozes class now compared to the standard internals of the TJ07.

Going to mount 11 Cape Cora's either side of the case and the 360 in the roof. I was surprised how effective the NexXxos is at slow fan speeds (600rpm or less) reviews consistently show it's better than anything else on the market in that size, even much thicker radiators.
 
Has a 07 myself a while back. Very nice case and wish i hadn't sold it complete. Powder coated, dual 360's, belkins etc, really nice. Now on a FT02 and can't fault SS. Quality product yet again but not the greatest for cable management, holds a 45mm 540 no probs though which makes up for it. :D Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out!

What is it they say about measuring up? Measure twice, cut once? Made a boo boo with my first measurements, managed to gain an extra 5mm that I carried all the way to the end.
