What's wrong with using on-board audio?

I really do not see the point in spending money on a separate audio card these days.

Coz i thought my one was a lot better then the onboard one no ? has it's own on board memory ? no one else has said this ? lol

I prefer the sound from my sound card, and the front panel is really useful along with the remote.

You can tell the difference if you have good speakers.

The supplied audio card is pants to say the least.

It's probably better than onboard audio but compaired to my Prelude soundcard its poor.

I think it sounds great with my B&W AND CAMBRIDGE AUDIO AMP

So the fan wil be ok then ?
