To Lower or Not To Lower?

they'll still hold their own against a lot of recent "hot" hatches tbh - just cause somethings old doesn't mean its rubish

You know what this forum's like.

If it's older than 5 years and not a Ford/BMW, it's crap.

It's like a Commodore 64. Blinding in their day but would you want to be sat behind one today?

205s are ace. Were it not for the fact that I wanted a newer and more reliable car to use for work, I would have had one.

I remember reading a quote not so long ago, I think it was in EVO magazine who said "When the 205GTi was released in 1986(?) it was considered the best hot hatch in the world. 20 years on, it pretty much still is." Nuff said.

In a recent evo magazine test they tested all the latest hot hatches against the old ones and the 205 gti came 4th :D made me so proud. ;)

Rear beam has had it, or has been lowered in the past. "Had it" is more likely.
Do you have different profile tyres front and rear? The fronts look to be a higher profile.

It is creaking a fair amount to be fair, but as I said I'm saving up to get it done properly.

Tyres front and rear are identical :)
