205s are ace. Were it not for the fact that I wanted a newer and more reliable car to use for work, I would have had one.

I remember reading a quote not so long ago, I think it was in EVO magazine who said "When the 205GTi was released in 1986(?) it was considered the best hot hatch in the world. 20 years on, it pretty much still is." Nuff said.

Rear beam has had it, or has been lowered in the past. "Had it" is more likely.
Do you have different profile tyres front and rear? The fronts look to be a higher profile.

It is creaking a fair amount to be fair, but as I said I'm saving up to get it done properly.
