I don't know if you'll gain much but provided I had a backup solution for all my essential data I would go for it. Don't know if it would be worth it though.
I have a RAID0 array as my primary OS + Storage and I use Skydrive for backing up my data. I did this by mapping my Documents, Pictures and Music folder to Skydrive. This way everything gets copied automatically without me having to initiate anything. The really fabulous thing about this is that Windows 8 remembers your folders set up (if you login via a MS account), so if you have to reformat and start again for whatever reason as soon as you get into Windows it starts pulling all your data back in for you.
I know this isn't fool proof, I really should have a another drive to make a backup separately but this set up with Skydrive alone gives me enough confidence to run a RAID0 array.
currently running 2 ocz agility 3's on raid, you would notice a difference hard to say how much where i noticed it was on startup and opening programs etc was that used to raid until i went back to just a single ssd it just felt sluggish think it just depends what you are used to
I also have a NAS drive so everything gets copied over to it just incase of any errors easy enough to back up and restore
I have agility 3 in raid and you get 1000mbs read and about 950 write on atto benchmark so you are basically getting double the speed of a single drive...my pc seems very fast
