To the first of many

Took nearly 10 years for my first speeding offence. I remember being so annoyed about it.

The copper that stopped me said it was a good effort to stand a car on its nose when I saw them :) still went through through the gun at 86!

I wonder how long it will be before every speeding prosecution also bills you for the extra CO2 you produced by doing the extra speed.

And whether they will at some point bill you for the letter, envelope and the CO2 produced in delivering it to your door.

If you drive at 40mph theres an 80% chance the CO2 you produced will burn me to death
If you drive at 30mph theres and 80% chance I'll live

I can see it now

hmm, unlucky. although i now have this nasty feeling that i missed that very same camera when i went to liverpool at the weekend!

Suppose i have a few days to wait now...

that advert just gives me the urge to drive everywhere at 35mph, afterall a 50/50 chance is better than life gives most people :)

:D

The should rename them to 'fail' points

the letter should read

"Dear Numpty

GOTCHA! doing 46 in a 40, enjoy you failure points.

-PoPo"

These were very much my thoughts when I got done twice in one week. Both separate locations, one in Bury and one in Middlewhich. 34 in a 30 and 45 in a 40. I couldn't believe how much of a bell I had been.

The worst thing being, i was driving my works vehicle at the time, a 44Tonne articulated truck. The first was up a hill as well. :(
