To Wear a Waistcoat or Not?

Nope.

Even when I go to interviews I wouldn't wear one.

A lot of businesses (even the top ones) now have a 'business casual' policy. Which generally translates to Suit with tie when you have important stuff on, and no tie with top button of shirt undone when you don't.

It's almost as bad as wearing trousers with suspender things that go over your shoulders, you will look like a **** :p

You mean... braces.

Yes wear the waistcoat. Waistcoats are cool... also bowties, bowties are cool!

Bowties are indeed cool, as is a Fez. However, don't bother with either of those.

The waistcoat works for you, I think it looks good. Do it.

With if you are planning on having your jacket open for long periods of time, sitting down and eating etc.

Not really necessary if you are keeping your jacket done up.

waistcoat > no waistcoat

psychologicaly, a waistcoat conveys the message that you are the one to watch, you are bold and confident, and see youself as a conventional but out of the box thinker.

women sway at your feet as you pass, in awe of your awesomeness. feeling the need not only to ditch their boyfriends, but to let them know how bad they are at everything, (including the bedroom) compared to you.

even the boss will feel the need, to invite you over to his house so you can **** his wife. :D

I wasn't aware of Professor Badass prior to reading this topic.

His appearance inspired me to laugh out loud and to disturb the office, but upon reflection I realised just how awesome he is.

I now wish to subscribe to his newsletter and to learn more of his teachings.

Isn't it etiquette or something to leave the last button of your waistcoat undone or something? Or am I talking out of my rear? :p
