Now that's a close shave. It wouldn't have just been the car's rear end that felt uneasy if I were in that situation. Glad to hear no one was hurt and no serious damage caused.

Gotta ask though, did the Police not pick you up on the questionable spacing of your number plate?

Nope I've never had a problem with it, can still be read by the ANPR systems so I doubt they would take issue with it unless they were looking for an excuse to meet a daily target/quota

Exactly. Legal and reasonable aren't the same thing.

If I were a copper I'd have no problem with your plate because it's perfectly legible. Some some chav efforts with illegal fonts and "cunningly" placed screw covers aren't so easy to decipher.

Simply not driving to conditions. The 996 doesn't have traction control so it needs to be babied around everywhere.
