Today I found out

Many congratulations to you both!

Tips: Look after the GF/Wife as much as poss! Don't let her lift anything heavy! Read up as much as you can about the whole process and options open to you for delivery etc, both go to the classes. 'Conception, Pregnancy and Birth' by Dr. Miriam Stoppard is a great book....
Wifey may go through strange eating habits - don't worry it's normal! Also watch out for the mood swings!
Main thing though is both of you get envolved and enjoy the whole process as much as possible!
Oh yeah after the baby is born, be prepared for not going out much with the lads any more! LOL!

Many congrats mate :)

I'm not a dad myself but from my life experiences I regret my parents not pushing me to keep my 2nd language. My advice is try to raise your child speaking bilingual. He/She will thank you later ;)

I'm going to be a dad!!!!!!!!

All you dads out there, give me some cool dad tips.

The first couple of months you need to be prepared for the lack of sleep and the total change in your life. After a few months your brain is kind to you and makes you forget that you once had free time and could lie in whenever you wanted to :)

As they get older, it only get easier and easier, and generally more fun :)

Congrats. I have a 14month old daughter and I would never change that. There are so many times that she makes me smile.

People say you lose sleep but all in all it's not for long just stick to a routine I'm glad we did our little one is asleep no later than 21:00 and sleeps till 0700-0800 it's like having an alarm clock for work.

Awww, congratulations, how exciting! :) Like somebody else said, make sure your partner feels EXTRA loved and special during the next 9 months. Good luck :D

Congratulation mate. :)

Im a father too. 14month Boy. It's hard work. But i love it. Watching him grow everyday, driving you up the wall, war zone and everyting. Being a father is great. Dont regret it.

For the next nine months, take it easy with the Mrs. later on she will become grumpy/moody. Let her do what she wants to do.

:)

Ohh, a little bump.

Thanks all. Already the GF has gone a bit crazy.

Just ride it out, it gets better after the first three months, and remember what I said, SHE DOES NOT LOOK FAT! and you love her new shape! :D

Congratulations and just remember - it can't be that bad as not everyone is an only child. Mind you, that's only because women actually give birth, not men.

Go with your instincts, if you're not sure ask your Mum and just relax and enjoy the ride.
