People, myself included, have just gotten so used to free shipping that in their minds, they have over time forgot that shipping costs exist - now you're sticking them onto deals it's alarm bells ringing :D

It still is cheaper though, just not as much as it looks for forum members.

typical-ordered a 950 yesterday :(, as for free shipping-that is the main reason i carry on buying gear from OCUK, due to it being NEXT DAY. The odd today only deal that is of interest does not outweigh that.

Just return it under DSR rights or ring up OCUK might (:p) give you a discount to save you both the hassle....


And to those whining please shut it. Is it cheap? If so purchase if not purchase elsewhere.

Bit confused (as im a bit of a beginner when it comes to hardware)

The corsair dominator will work with AM3 mobo's?

apologies if it seems like an obvious question just goes on about intel in the information and just wanna be sure before ordering.

Yep it runs some 300Mhz faster so would give you a small performance boost, but in reality probably not that noticable. :)
 
I bought the 950 the other day

They are a very good batch.

1.18V for 4Ghz Prime & Intel burn test stable

1.264V for 4.2Ghz memory 1600mhz Prime & Intel burn test stable

1.280/94 for 4.2ghz memory 2000mhz Prime & Intel burn test stable

1.344V for 4.3Ghz memory at 1870mhz Prime & Intel burn test stable

Im going for 4.4Ghz shortly Will try with lower memory speed first as thats the skill to get the memory to run high.

Took me hours of testing up to 3am to get the sweet spot, I will post my settings, but they are for gigabyte boards.
