Just because your 15 year old son is suffering hallucinations and his school has raised concerns about him and call you in for a meeting about a picture he has drawn, doesn't mean that buying him a gun and leaving him with it at school isn't a perfectly valid parenting option. Rather than, say, trying to find out what's wrong and getting him some medical help.

The mind boggles...

Have they purposely targeted children ?

Eleven children are in hospital following the rally, nine with gunshot wounds, Children's Mercy, a Kansas City hospital, said in a statement.

"Those victims brought here from the Union Station incident are being treated by the best trauma specialists in the city," the hospital said.

No ages of the victims were provided.

The police chief had said earlier that no children had been injured in the shooting.

Legal look at the mother convicted of manslaughter after her son Ethan Crumbley killing 4 classmates and and injuring 7 others. I wasn't sure about this case but after hearing how terrible they were as parents, ignoring repeatedly the warning signs and cries for help from their son and then buying him a 9mm hand gun, I've come around to the conclusion that she deserves to be in jail. Her husband trial is next month

Father found guilty too. Both are due to be sentenced on 9th April
