Ohh might re d/l Syphon Filter now.

I knew about CaC, you see the spat between David Jaffe and Joystiq?

I would link to it but, it being David Jaffe, isn't suitable for a family forum :D

all i was say it is on his official blog ;)

Using my mastercard. For some reason my mastercard works and not my Visa.
Might be because my Mastercard is from a bank who, although it is a UK everything, iirc it is an American Bank, but my Visa is UK

Is Super Stardust what i think it is, if so woohoo :D

I have the original sitting here for the Amiga CD32.

Certainly is - Brand new details of Sony's upcoming PlayStation Network game Super Stardust HD have been announced, along with the first screens of the updated arcade classic.

Rather like Asteroids, Stardust sees you destroying massive meteors with a range of lethal weaponry while avoiding the resulting debris. However, that's not the only danger you face, as evil Professor Schaumund tries to hinder your efforts by sending enemy spaceships your way.
There are three different game modes to play - including a two-player co-operative mode - and a global online rankings board to see who's the best space shooter. Plus, as the name would imply, Super Stardust HD features glitzy high definition graphics presented in full 1080p glory.

Super Stardust HD is set to hit the PlayStation Store this June.

Bring on june, well more like July if PSN dates proves as reliable as ever!

Does this mean the update has happened then and it means nothing changes on the UK store this week? It is too much hassle for me to sign up to a Mastercard, just for this, but I do want some of the content!! Somoene posted some online VISA thing but it sounded like a bad deal as you had to pay £4 each time you top it up or something considering average content costs less than £4 seems bad value.

Help!!

Edit: Just checked newest item on UK store is 27/04 VT3 demo. Looks like 1 new file in 2 weeks on the UK one :(

Well UK normally updates early friday morning. I posted about an online Visa card that i use, you pay 4.5% of what you load onto the card. If you define a single merchant ie the US PS store then you will not have to pay the 4.5%.

Hi,

Yes I think it was you who gave me the info. So it sounds like you mean that you can nominate 1 retailer that you can use without the 4.5% and all other transactions to other stores incur the charge.

So far have you been charged anything for using it or had to pay the percentage? Also how long would it take to be up running using it if I started sign up now?

I already have some VISA credit cards that I never use I normally do all transactions via debit cads, but looks like I may have to make an exception for this (I know its like a virtual VISA card and there isn't a monthly bill etc like a credit card).

I use my card for various sites so i have not as yet set up a single retailer card. It cost nothing to use at all ie no fees monthly yearly etc, you only have to pay a fee of £3 to withdraw funds from your card back to your Bank account. The 4.5 % is not an issue to be honest its a lot less than the interest on a Credit card, ok if you pay it every month then there is none but you get what i mean. For example to top up £20 cost me an extra 90P and thats it. One thing i like is you can change your currency for an example if you want to put $10 on your card you can select US$ then add only $10 your Credit limit (if you wish to call it that) will also change to $. Here is a link to the Help part of there website http://www.entropay.com/help_faq.php?c=9&q=98
I think validation takes a couple of days or so but they put £10 (out of your account) on your card straight away until its validated. It does not seem to work on the japan site though.

Just played Tekken 2 its fun as it always was, but seems like i cant remember any of the moves oh well. Luckily enough though if you push the PS button you can read the software manual for the game, not sure if this is going to be the same for all PS1 games but its a good idea.

check your email :) any questions just mail me.

Sorry for anyone else when you register for your card use your own address or else you wont be able to validate your card. When you use the virtual visa you can set the cards address to anywhere you like!

I have just created account and they have taken $20 from my account. I just have to verify the breakdown of the money and then I'm validated. Easy so far...
