Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Revealed

only had one random tonight doing shouting, but he was actually calling targets and being fairly useful, if a little exciteable. Other than that everyone tends to be silent

You still solo queuing?

Sometimes, just purely for the practice and to learn the maps a bit better. Have squadded with theKwango for the last couple of days as we usually dominate at games but hes ****ing **** ;) . (love you really wango)

Had a few great games with Duey at about 5am a few days ago, rest of the time I can't keep up with you guys, its great for learning just watching people but I'm not massively useful as part of an experienced team.

Had a few good moments and definitely getting better but thats mainly just due to being a sneaky **** and coming up behind people.

Mate don't worry about it. Come join us anytime. I'm sure they've carried worse (me :D). Besides discord is random a fair few times we have people leaving as there's not enough players for another squad so more the merrier.

Best way to learn is to play with better people and watch/listen to what they do. I've learnt an obscene number of obscure drone hiding spots from digi and a lovely sneaky way of opening certain reinforced areas.. Supers squad are insanely good and I must admit I feel bad for letting them down a lot but I've learnt a lot from them (not direction :D).

We still get our arses handed to us every so often :(.

Have to say the guys on discord are definitely patient, carried me in pretty much every round I have played. The worst that has happened was people laughing at my random drone operations.

Did get a bit of a complex when MrD ran up some stairs, shot me, stopped for a second and then laid the rounds in thick and fast....

But that's enough about TKs before any unsavoury rumours start about me. *cough*

I wouldn't go as far as saying we're insanely good. But I can say that most of us have logged lot of hours together playing as a team (and not just in Siege). In America's Army the normal squad size is 12 players so through the years the team players have learned to develop more precise comms to keep TS or in-game VOIP open as possible.

My ranked squad which includes myself, Harakin, and the CPT boys are a lot more quiet and precise when we play seriously. For example: Ping, "one in NW corner" is more succinct and useful than "there's a player on the left side of the room".

Usually I try to give directions based on the compass. Otherwise I will give directions in the player's perspective to save them time which of course is easier to do if I'm spectating.

Comms saves lives and expedites movement. If the team stagnates at an entryway and all you hear is "No idea where they are," then take the initiative to drone and locate people/clear the room or suggest it to someone who is in a safer position. There's no safer way to enter a room than to scout it with the drone and have your partner advance with it. You can then follow behind and cover flanks.

When people play for kills or just for laughs these are the little details they forget that can help the team win.

TL;DR
If you want to have a good squad keep playing with the same people to develop succinct comms and a playstyle.

lol, don't worry no offence caused - I totally agree I am totally **** - but then I have noticed over the years that I tend to be **** at **** games! I think me skill receptors switch off when they encounter muck games! :p

sadly I think I may have to pass this one off as not being for me!

To be fair super I've seen your team clutch 1v5 multiple times so I'd say insanely :).

How do you get the compass unless you're alive? Or is it the case of knowing the map?

I'd give it more than an hour before deciding tbh mate, I wasn't really sold on it based on either closed beta, took a punt for £20 hoping it would be worth it and now I'm really enjoying it.

Admittedly it does have a steeper learning curve than most traditional FPS's, I didn't really click with it for a few days. I also reckon you've got ingrained CSGOisms on the go too :p
