I think when it gets patched properly, yes.

Only other contender it has is CS:GO and imo this is more fun and definitely a better game for spectators, it just needs the financial backing the compet scenes have.
 
Suddenly got kicked in the head so decided to rest my eyes instead of playing :(.

Good games today on the whole thanks :).

Once they fix the hitreg and maybe increase the tick rate, finally add that spectator view I can see a nice esport league.

Unfortunately the servers are closed there's no way to pull match data from them so we'll have to rely on them setting up some form of clan/leader board system. Not a good idea to allow player input. Shame as I'd have quite liked to set up a clan/leaderboard system.

It's got all the qualities it needs but so far away :(. I fear it will die off before they get around to it :(.

E-sports is out of the question until fairfight (no not you mynight) proves it's a capable AC for this game. It also depends on what the meta evolves into, if it's just shield cheese, I doubt many people would watch...

I do enjoy watching this game I'm constantly watching YouTube videos when I'm not playing like seeing other peoples tactics with different operators

Oh yeah without a doubt, anti cheat definitely needs improving. Although that being said think we saw one guy getting kicked by it just now, he shot me through a wall as I was sprinting round a corner and by the time the killcam finished he had left the game, he hadnt been killed and they were on a winning streak, he wouldnt have just quit on purpose.
 
Theres a few forms of anti cheat server side (this) and client side (punkbuster/vac/gamespy). Server side isn't as intrusive but it cant detect cheat programs unless they use them stupidly. So basically there could be thousands of cheaters who only cheat a little but because its only a little fairfight wont pick them up.

I would prefer client side one although more intrusive and prone to false positives its a much more thorough way of detecting cheaters. Not perfect by any means but better.

(this is to the best of my knowledge I'm sure someone will correct if I'm wrong)

Really enjoy ranked games feels like there's more to lose :D. I also need to calm down lol. I should stop telling others to wait especially when I always rush sorry :(.

Yeah thanks for the games, was strange having no comms due to discord having a fit. I will admit though I did a lot better when I could only hear the game audio.

Ours had a fit earlier, we just changed servers and it sorted its life out.

But I get what you mean, playing with a squad of 5 is great but at the same time the amount of talking means I miss that one footstep outside the door and get a shot to the head.

It's catch 22, you play with people you know on comms and have a tactical advantage or play with randoms and have the silent sneaky advantage.

Yeah I imagine it can be easier especially without me giving the wrong directions :D.

Got a choice really being professional and dead silent unless giving info or just crack on and brush off the mishaps when someones too loud. I think wed get bored with the former.

With my luck I get the oppposite :mad:

Randoms shout in my ear and I have to quickly hide to mute them. My teammates have been pretty good though. Although sometimes dead people get super excited and make strange noises as they spectate me as last man standing...
