Had some good games again last night.

Valiant I had a similar problem to you ages ago, turned out a lot of people in my area had complained about a similar problem and when calling the company to complain to send an engineer out they informed me there was a fault in the area affecting everyone's connections.

Could it be something similar?

Added you Thundycat, was asking if you wanted to join us lot in a game but no reply. Think it's because I had no Jaffa cakes :(

No floor, no point in setting it all up, taking it down in a week to make room to get carpets in, and then putting it all back again!

Just moved house, the more I'm shifting stuff about all the time the more I'm scuffing things, knocking holes into walls etc.

I'm going without until it's all done, trying to preserve everything!!
 
Rargh. How can I go from absolutely owning a squad of diamond/plat players to getting schooled by a copper :(.

I did love that game against the platinum and diamond team who clearly had someone that paid them to get boosted lol.
As soon as we started killing them the hackusations began, it's funny at first but now it seems as soon as you kill someone you're instantly hacking.
A lot has to do with the stupidly high lag advantage, many times I've been around the corner on my screen and then died, look at the replay and it shows me just going past the door. I then look at the guy who's just killed me and his ping is 120 while mine is 40ish.

If they're not going to get better servers at least give us servers in the UK.

Server location is irrelevant to be honest - they just need to ditch this console-friendly latency interpolation that absolutely ruins gameplay. I've had so many situations where, like you, I've done something only to be killed a reasonable distance away from where I actually was. Peak shots and kills on windows are a big one too - break a window, get a few rounds off out of it and pull back instantly. Only to then get killed. Without being visible. *sigh*.
 
To be fair watching the video back I would have thought I was hacking lol.

Just see me looking around on the spot then I stop at a wall about 30 degrees away. He breaks the front door and headshot before he's even finished the melee animation :D.

The other time I peeked a corner ADS and he's coming down it so I headshotted him again lol. I didn't even hear him coming.

Unfortunately hacking is one of those things regardless of what I say I'm still potentially a hacker lol. Although getting owned by coppers a couple matches later I should get a refund :D.
 
I wish I had been recording a few of my kills over the last few days. On the ship level I heard someone the other side of a wall and popped off a quick burst shot and got 2 head shots in 4 bullets.

Another time I did the exact same with Pulse through a wall. Never been called out but in both cases both people left the game Instantly.
 
Is this game worth getting...I've been following the thread for a long time and got a week off work so hovering my finger over the buy button.

From the looks of it I think I will love it but is it worth the £39.99 steam is asking or am I better off getting it elsewhere?

I'd say yes but I'd also say just buy a key from somewhere I think they're about £30.

Then again with steam you could get a refund if you don't take to it.

Still got issues but it's enjoyable most of the time.
