I'm no paypal expert myself but is your account verified? And did you fund the payment from your bank account or with funds already in your paypal account?
 
i bought this today but i played 30 mins of it and I dont like it much. What is up with the frame rate? it doesnt look too amazing and it goes into choppy mode when you pan the camera around which annoys the heck out of me.

I may well take it back.

MY account isn't verified, but I have made / received payments before. I took the funds straight from ym bank, without paying into PayPal first.

If it isn't verified then I think it can take a few days to clear if you're funding payment from your bank account/card. I remember when my address wasn't verified it took longer for things to clear, I presume it's that as I paid for the game the same way as you although mine's verified and it went through straight away? I'm not sure though..

I have played previous versions of this game but I'm having real trouble grabbing people in this game, whenever I try and grab a guard who is patrolling his area no matter how slowly and quietly I am they just seem to spin around just before I get the option to grab them. Stationary guards are no problem and I can grab them and interrogate them, but moving guards seem to have a 6th sense when I get within 5 foot of them. :mad:

I had that problem true, more strangely - only on the first level :s

Yeah I know that, but read ya manual, it says "Quick Save" and "Save", so there should be 2 options... but there isnt? Well not in mine! I assume something they took out just before release, and couldn;t be arsed/forgot to take it out of the manual! either that or its a PC version feature, and the manuals are pretty much straight copies from each other?
 
Just got this game and am really impressed. Cut scene graphics are really nice and I thought I wouldnt really like the stealth that much, but it is really exciting.

You have to love the sticky camera/sound/CS gas :p
 
I think I suck at this game...Still doing the tutorials, but I'm struggling with the buttons.

Firstly how do you get to the picture on first tutorial, I have disabled the cameras but dont know how to avoid the lasers? I can only crouch, I cant get on the floor, is it possible?

Second one, I don't know how to get rid of the Police guy, I want to knock him out but I don't know how to use my own physical force and not a "gadget"

Any ideas?

Sneak up behind the cop and Right Trigger will knock him out.

To get the pic - once cameras are off - use the Beam over head, goto above the picture and an icon to grapple/hook should appear - then you go down :)

Left to knock out and right to kill/stab - thought you had completed the game noob? :p
 
From everything i've read and seen on this i might have to go buy it. Only other SC i played was the first one, never really got round to playing the others, but this new one sounds quite good. Very tempted. :)
 
Just finished this with the "hero" ending and I have to say I've enjoyed every bit of it so far! I'll probably try and get the game done on hard but this time I'll go on a rampage rather than use stealth!
