Anybody else notice their Splinter Cell DA disc getting scratched by their 360? I've not had a problem with this on any other game, but my CD has several circular scratches on it. Definitely the machine as I handle my CDs with as much care as possible, and when I get games I ALWAYS check they are not scratched at all, otherwise they go back (im fussy like that)... and their where none on there?
I've had the game crash twice so far (usually when I open Sam's OPSAT), and just before it does crash I hear a grinding sorta noise. Now that could be the laser moving, but it could also be the CD getting a nice scratch on it?
The game works fine at the moment, but if it keeps happening it will go pear shaped and I wont be able to play it anymore... and that will be GUTTING.
As it seems to only be the Splinter Cell game that causes this it seems really odd? I've been playing it a lot, but I played Dead Rising a hell of a lot more so far, and thats is spotless?
Anyone else? Or anyone else just getting the crashes?

Luckily I borrowed a friends for this weekend as he's away so I'll get to play it anyway. Not impressed that it was shipped a week ago and still hasn't turned up.

Funnily enough that happened to me last month. He stole several items befoer getting sacked. Got the old postie back again now and he is very reliable luckily

As soon as you use the control panel on the rocket take the ladder next to it upwards then climb up the rope above the rocket.
That got me the first time too.

This game's awesome 
Been playing it since 9, just stopped now. Lovely graphics, probably best i've seen yet on the 360. Gameplay is great, just hard enough (I'm playing on normal), have just got to the early snowy level (I'm trying to do the missions as stealthily as possible so have replayed the first few )

Agree with everyone on here. I was in two minds whether to get this game or not, NokkonWud finally persuaded me and I picked it up Friday.
I'm so glad I did. The graphics are fantastic and animation are superb. I'm playing the game as stealthily as possible so the gameplay feels like a cross between Hitman and Thief (PC).
When I started the training missions I was sat, manual on my lap with no idea what I was really doing. I also struggled on the first, the Iceland, mission due mainly to my lack of knowledge of the series.
I've now finished the 3rd mission and I feel I'm in control. The controls are intuitive and responsive, and the levels and tasks are well designed.
I haven't even looked at multiplayer yet; but as far as the single player is concerned, I'd give it a very high mark.
If you are in two minds, enjoyed Hitman, Thief etc, and are looking for something to keep you occupied before Gears comes out go get this! Highly recommended.
