Not sure banning Scientology is good. However they should be infiltrated and arrested for braking laws already in place.

I've always known that scientology was a bit far-out and weird... but in the article it says:

Scientology was founded in the United States in the 1950s by science-fiction writer L Ron Hubbard.

I think that it speaks for itself a bit there.

I think you might have hit the nail on the head there. I watched the Panorama film (I havn't watch the linked film) and the main problem was their use of blackmail to keep people in the order.

This whole Scientology deal has always seemed rather insidious to me, rather cult like.
That video of Cruise is really quite disturbing, he now belongs not on the movie set but in a mental hospital !!

I have no issues in the way scientology helps people find new meaning in their lives. However I find how it lures in the vulnerable and ties people in with money very sinister.
