Seriously, see it from their point of view, not a consumer point of view. I'm not saying you should definitely go buy it, but if you're trying to 'make a statement' with your purchasing decision, you may not be sending the message you think you are.

Obviously I don't know what they get paid, but with so many exclusives I'm guessing they have experience of the impact and whether it's worthwhile to them financially.

Buy anyway, I'm not making a statement personally, I'd actually buy it at launch if it wasn't for the fact that XCOM2 is out next week.
 
Watched a bit of the twitch stream last night, I find the direction of TR now very disappointing. It's just nothing like what made Tomb Raider a Tomb Raider game back in the Playstation days. The puzzles and the exploration is now getting less and less with each iteration. The gameplay did absolutely zero for me, very disappointing.
 
Got this game for free with my new graphics card. Will probably give it a play just to see what it is like but Tomb Raider never really sparked my interest even in the original PlayStation days.
