Tony hawk's never been about that though, if I remember right I think Skate? (If it's what it was called) went for a more realistic spin but could be wrongI really wish with games like this they'd add a "realism" mode where your skater is limited by the rules of physics a bit more like in the real world. Although puling off a six trick combo over a 90ft gap is enjoyable I feel like these games just take it a bit to an extreme. The original Coolboarders on PS1 was fairly realistic in this regard but the only way to improve on these games seemed to be to go bigger (a la THPS3/4, Coolboarders 2/3).
Can't wait to play this once it gets to the Steam store
Well been playing for a few hours now. Its absolutely amazing, except for one aspect....I suck.
There a point on the mall where I used to be able to get a 1m+ combo, I struggled to get 50k.
My 40+ year old reflexes have clearly declined more than I though.
I know exactly how you feel also forgot how numb my thumbs get from playing this lol, already theyre starting to look a bit flat where I've been mashing directions & kick/grab/grinds.
